In Sweden, the most common way to castrate a bitch is by midline approach. In this study, flank and midline approaches are compared in order to evaluate incision by the flank as an alternative technique for ovariohysterectomy in the bitch. The study was performed on straydogs in the central part of Thailand under field conditions. 32 bitches were included in the study. The castration technique was by flank and midline approach, alternating with every other bitch.

The objective with the study was to evaluate what key persons at LFV Group (Luftfartsverket) think about-presented core values and their implementation within the company. Another objective of the study was to describe and compare the process of implementation of core values and how this affects organization culture at two selected reference companies. A qualitative method was applied in the form of semi-structured interviews with key persons at Luftfartsverket and the other reference companies.As the result a four-step program is proposed to describe the implementation process of core values: presentation, introduction, realization and follow-up. Within the implementation process it is possible to distinguish another process, which is based on core values, - introduction of new employees. Detta arbete handlar om de nya sätten att kommunicera, främst e-post och mobiltelefon. Genom en enkätundersökning och fyra intervjuer på två verksamheter svarar jag på frågorna:· Vilken är attityden är till de nya sätten att kommunicera på arbetsplatsen?· I vilken utsträckning används e-post och mobiltelefon idag? Har de inneburit några förbättringar? Anser arbetstagarna att det behövs regler för att reglera användandet av e-post och mobiltelefon?Resultaten tyder på att e-post och mobiltelefon används i varierande utsträckning. E-post är mera uppskattat än mobiltelefon, men båda anses underlätta kommunikationen på arbetsplatsen vilket ses som en förbättring. Det finns en osäkerhet inför varför e-post och mobiltelefon införts i verksamheterna.

Teknikens utveckling har medfört att de flesta organisationer använder e-post, eftersom den är snabb och enkel att använda. Flera tidigare studier har visat att e-post skapar stress i arbetslivet. Syftet är att undersöka om e-post är förenat med upplevd stress samt vilka av faktorerna krav, kontroll och socialt stöd som korrelerar med dessa upplevelser. I studien undersöktes även om anställda känner sig stressade i sina arbeten. Studien bygger på en enkät med 50 deltagare från tre olika organisationer.

(CSE), som bygger på fyra personlighetsdrag: generell self-efficacy, locus of control, neurotisism och självkänsla. Crypreservation of oocytes is recently being considered to be a valid choice in infertility treatments.Low survival and fertilization rates due to inefficient slow freeze protocols have been the outcome ofmany previous studies done in the field. However, introduction of the vitrification technique and itsapplication in reproductive medicine and to some extent new improved slow freeze protocols haveshown that oocytes can be cryopreserved with successful outcome.In this project the survival rate of oocytes after vitrification with MediCult Vitrification andWarming Media has been studied. Also, a comparison of the carriers Cryoloop (an open system) andCryopette (a closed system) has been performed.A total of 43 oocytes were vitrified and warmed according to MediCult's protocol, of which 21oocytes with Cryoloop and 22 with Cryopette. The cells were post-thaw incubated in a physiologicalenvironment for 24h. During that time the morphology and viability were observed and noted after 2h,over night and after 24h.
